Mark was born in Tabor, Minnesota, a small farming community in the Red River Valley. He graduated from Grinnell College in 1975, and received his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1980. Mark is married, has two grown daughters, and is active in his community working to combat systemic poverty issues and coaching and managing youth sports programs. Mark's law office is located in the US Bank Center in downtown St. Paul. He shares offices with eight other attorneys who pool resources to deliver the best legal services in the Twin Cities.
